Le GThe GRIDD is participating in the drafting of a government roadmap aimed at establishing the pace of BIM implementation in the public domain. In this way, the government is adopting concrete targets for a major digital shift in the design, construction and operation of public infrastructure.
The Ministry of Transport, the Société d’habitation du Québec, the City of Montreal and the City of Quebec are signatories to this roadmap, which ensures that it is well distributed.
Over the period of 2020 to 2023, the government will spend the following amounts on the digital shift for construction companies:
25.3 million to support the digital shift
9.7 million to accelerate the modernization of infrastructure and technological processes of public project owners
3 million for the preparation and drafting of a roadmap integrating BIM
