The ACQ is setting up a digital compass accessible to its members. This new platform aims to :
– Demystify the digital transition
– Give a taste of digital to member organizations
– Position ACQ member organizations in their digital transition
– Identify a starting point to support members in their digital transition
Therefore, this quiz assesses the organization in six categories. Firstly, the digital strategy category evaluates the establishment and sharing of concrete digital objectives within the organization and the implementation of a strategy to achieve them. Secondly, the culture and commitment category reviews the support of leaders and the ability to implement changes towards a digital culture. Thirdly, the processes and operations category covers the ability to optimize and automate activities that support business operations. Then, the information management category addresses the management of data and information flows. Finally, the Ecosystems category addresses the deployment of technology in business operations and the Collaboration category covers how the company shares and exchanges information with its employees. Subsequently, this platform will be used to position the capabilities and competencies of organizations according to five levels specifically:
1- Conservative
The company has not established a clear vision for digital. Opportunities are not identified. Most of the work is done manually and “offline”. Managers are in reaction mode most of the time.
2- Organized
The company has a good idea of what digital can do for them. Even better, managers have started to implement some tools for very specific tasks.
3- Strategic
The company has a clear vision for digital. It has implemented specific actions to effectively manage its digital shift.
4- Innovative
The company stays on top of innovation trends and puts it at the heart of its business strategy. It measures its performance and has implemented a continuous improvement process.
5- Leader
The company is seen as a reference in terms of innovation within the industry. It has put in place an optimization process and devotes adequate resources to it.
