In Canada, the use of the Integrated Project Delivery Contract (IPD) is recent, and while it has been tested a few times in private and public projects, it is still considered unknown and legally untested. According to a recent study conducted by IPDA (2020), some owners who have had direct experience with the CCDC30 report that the Canadian template has certain shortcomings compared to existing international templates. This project aims firstly to propose ways to improve the CCDC30, then to draw the limits of the CCDC30 contract, clarify the notion of a relational contract and finally, to facilitate the understanding of the project process in integrated project realization. To do this, Audrey will work with the Nordik group, a pioneer in the field of integrated project realization, to gather information on the progress of their projects. This research project should eventually clarify the contractual environment around IPP in order to facilitate the adoption of this delivery method in the Quebec industry.
