Many business successes result from companies following innovation theories and models. These successes are dependent on a good fit between the innovation and the accompanying business model. It is in this context that this project aims to identify the impact of innovation in the reinvention of off-site construction (OSC).
The purpose of this project is to analyze a few construction business models to determine the level of integration and the impact of technological innovation. The project also includes an analysis of the impact of off-site construction on the productivity of trade contractors (MEP) as well as a study of the influence of project delivery mode on CHS.
For this project, all the steps in the figure opposite have been completed. In the near future, this study will be extended with an analysis of the off-site construction data in order to globally evaluate the integration of BIM on the supply chains and draw possible improvements.
