This project addresses the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and BIM through the automation of progress on site through the use of IoT and an autonomous Rover. It aims to enable the development of new project management methods to improve productivity on site and to study the impact of automation on the construction industry through data acquisition and progress monitoring on site. The students are developing a technology to automate the collection of information on site by integrating both static (IoT) and moving (Rover) sensor data. Once integrated into the BIM model, this data will allow for the monitoring of the progress of the construction site thanks to the detection of elements captured in the form of point clouds.
